I ordered a “Micro” to fit a specific light/laser and with a Top Down cut in May and got it delivered in July. I knew it will take 2 months or longer due to the family tragedy when I placed the order. After leaning the story of Stephen and how he wanted to design this best holster, I’ve decided that this is the holster I want. The holster doesn’t disappoint. Albeit the seemingly high price tag, it IS the best holster, at least among the other 20 or so that I’ve had. In that perspective, I’d have actually saved a lot of money if I had heard about ProTeq in the beginning. The quality, the design, and the craftsmanship is really top notch.

I have paid for a custom holster in January and still not received it. There is no response. This company has seemed to have closed. Will prob never get my $260 back.

I did the negative review on December 18 and I like to remove it if possible. I am very sorry about your lost and I wish I had known about it. Please remove my negative feedback. I feel awful about it but I did not know about your loss.

Buyer beware do not place. website says they are back open fulfilling orders as for what I see that is a lie they are not answering emails phone calls text messages and not fulfilling orders. I placed an expedited order in November. My holster should’ve been in the mail in one week. We are now six weeks later. Unbelievable how they have shut out their customer but are still taking orders and receiving payments on their website. It’s unbelievable as a business owner that they will. Ignore your customer the way you are doing, if you’re going to ignore everyone, then refund their money because you’re not fulfilling orders.

You only post positive feedback. Your customer service is bad as it vomes. I ordered a holster 2 month ago, called you more than 4 times nobody picked up, left messages and texted with no response. I will posting about this really bad customer expirience till i get my money back.

Broken in and runs like a dream.

Exceeded 1000 draws and ran plenty of reload drills with it. Inside has some scrapes from the thread protector but she runs flawless.

I am 71 years old and I have a too large collection of holsters that I bought and also inherited from my father. Most of the holsters sit in a drawer or box because they either didn’t fit or work right. Stephen Brannan of ProTEQ Custom Gear sat down with me and we discussed all of my problems [only the holster ones, we didn’t have time for the rest, ha ha] and we worked out what would work the best for me. He made me several for my different guns and I can promise you that they are comfortable and they work. I tested them with unloaded guns and shook them very hard over my bed and they didn’t fall out. Just got my ProTEQ mini holster today I have recently gotten my ccw and props to Stephen I put it on no adjustments I have bought a few other holsters to try and to tell the truth NO other compairs it is so damn comfortable it’s like putting on a pair of socks my next one will definitely be a Pro TEQ

I signed up for some basic gun safety instruction w/ Donna Getts. I couldn’t be happier w/ my experience w/ both her and ProTEQ. The kitchen sink appendix is a NEXT LEVEL holster. I am 265 pounds. The leather flexes and prevents the handgun from touching or rubbing on your stomach. I can bend over, twist, flex and sit down with no discomfort. It’s amazing! President Stephen Brannan absolutely nailed it!

Purchased the Cross-Draw IWB holster for the H&K P7 PSP. This is the most comfortable iwb holster I have ever worn. The kydex is a prefect mold of the pistol, nice and secure. Excellent customer service! Life time guarantee on the holster.
I have lost time and money purchasing then returning other iwd holsters. This ProTEQ holster is a keeper.

I have an IWB, OWB and magazine holder for a my Glock 43X. They are the most comfortable holsters I have ever had.

I have to say these are the best holsters I’ve ever purchased. I’ve been a law enforcement officer for over 20 years and I’ve worn my share of holsters both concealed and not concealed and these are the most secure , lightweight, premium quality built that I’ve ever bought. I bought a micro IWB for when I’m off duty that is easily hidden with a t shirt. For on duty detective purposes I’ve bought a tac comp HD and it fits policy guidelines for level 2 and above for on duty use. Both holsters are easy to operate and safe and protective of the gun. I have your micro IWB holster for the Sig P365, for about 2 months now and I like a lot.
It is very comfortable, I wear it with a kore essentials one and one half inch belt. My problem
is it seems to slide down on my hip wearing it at about 4:00 to 4:30. I am about 6’ 1" & 200 lbs.
I have tried it with a T shirt under it and over it.
Would you have any advice for me.

Ordered a “Kybrid” cross draw holster for a CZ Rami 2075 carry 9mm, an impossible holster for a scarce pistol. They told me it would be a wait because of the Christmas 2020 crush and Covid work safety, but this holster is absolutely worth the wait. Beautiful handwork, very fine finishing details, handsome design, a perfect shape for fast grip clearance, super comfortable support pancake, wide and careful edge bevels and burnish … . and I was really surprised to find out it works just as well at 3 o’clock and 4:30. I discovered ProTEQ fortuitously, while watching a video Stephen did on Sig P365 trigger and slide safety. I purchased a micro holster from this company and have to say that the quality and engineering of this holster are absolutely fantastic. Pretty much exactly as described in the videos on the site. this company only sells quality stuff. the pocket mags are the best i have found. i own several and have tried all the others and these win by far. the kybrid holsters are excellent as well. nothing more secure than the snap of a kydex holster. especially when it has the horsehide backing to save your skin. i have two drawers full of holsters while searching for the perfect rig. stephen’s craftsmanship have ended my holster searches. the idea he had of a holster also protecting your RMR within the kydex is proof of an innovation specialist. carry on PRO TEQ !!!!!!

I have been wearing the Kybrid Micro IWB with a Sig Sauer P238 daily for about three weeks. I wear it at about the 4:00 position. I am about 100 pounds overweight and I was worried about how it would fit me and how hot it might feel. I was unable to comfortably wear a quality Kydex IWB holster due to the gun digging into my extra rolls around my waist. This holster fits wonderfully and does not feel hot at all. It protects my skin from the gun. It is so comfortable that I quickly forget that I am wearing it. Also, I believe that it actually helps hold up my belt and pants due to the leather against the skin. This holster is top quality and extremely comfortable. I will definitely get another one if I change my carry gun.

I just received my holster for a Glock model 43 and wanted to share my feelings on it. I ordered an S.O.B. holster a few months back and absolutely love the feel, comfort and ease I have for my pistol.
I want to order another for another gun I have but I’d like to ask a question. I was born with only 1 hand so putting the holster on with 2 hooks is somewhat of a challenge without taking my pants off. I have a smaller kimber micro 9 and also looking at The Cup holster for it and was wondering if it’s possible to put the same cant angle on it like the SOB? It would make this 1 handed fat boy really happy. 😁😁

The holster fits the gun, (walther pps m2) was having major problems with other holsters that would cause the magazine release to engage and the clip would be ready to fall out, not so with this Kybrid,,,,! This holster wraps itself into place and STAYS THERE,,,!! With or without a belt the double clips always has the grip in the same location, coming from someone with shoulder problems and injuries the draw is MAGICAL,,,, retention of firearm is positive yet your hand fully engaged a fantastic grip and leaps from the holster to its working position in front of your face,,,!!!! Ok now HERE’s the “bad”,,!!!! Proteq is seriously limiting their sales,,,, i have the gun i need, now i have the holster i need,,,, i dont “NEED” to look or purchase anything besides ammo,,,, Thank you Proteq,,,,!

I just received my full size IWB holster for my FN 509M. This is the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever had. I don’t even know I have it on. It does not feel bulky at all. Nothing pokes me like others do. It conceals even better than expected. Really keeps the grip tight to my body. Concealment is incredible and excellent weight distribution. I have a drawer full of holsters I have been disappointed in. By far this is the best ever. Worth every penny. Soon I will be ordering another for a different firearm.

Stephen is a friend of mine – i always liked the horizontal mag idea and told him i wanted to order one. He showed me the kybrid holster too and convinced me it was a game changer. I received my Micro Hybrid IWB for my Sig 365 and I have been wearing it everyday for almost two weeks . Fits like a glove and very comfortable to wear and breaking in nicely . This holster is far better than the CrossBreeds I have worn and a lot more comfortable to wear also . The rounding of the edges is a nice touch !! Will be buying more holsters from ProTeq in the future for my another handguns for sure .

Question: I wear a 1.75"wide x.25" thick leather gun belt, will the CLIPS on the IWB Micro holster fit over my belt ?

I got Stephen to build a S.O.B. rig for my P365. Perfect customization with picture and wording. Liked it so much I challenged him to build another S.O.B. rig for my Sig Legion P226 RX with the Romeo 1 optic. There is no rig on the market like the one he built. Stated he had to 3D print a completely new template. Now that is customer service! Rig completely covers and protects not only the gun but also wraps the Romeo 1 optic. Nice. You can’t go wrong with ProTEQ holsters.

I bought one of the original prototype hybrid holsters from ProTeq several years ago. So far it has been flawless, even for a prototype it has been my go-to concealed carry holster. Completed CWP Basic class today. Stephen is an excellent instructor. He takes the time to explain things thoroughly and has the patience and compassion to see everyone succeed. I took the Defensive Foundation with Concealed Carry class, taught by Stephen Brannan, on 11/13/15 and 11/14/15. Stephen is an outstanding instructor who took the time to insure his students fully understood all the concepts of the defensive actions needed if the students are ever attacked by an assailant. Brannan’s course offered much more instruction and skill knowledge than is provided by other concealed carry courses offered elsewhere.

I recently purchased a ProTEQ holster for my M&P9C . Every now and then you come across a product that works so very well it goes almost unnoticed while being used. I’ve owned My ProTEQ IWB holster for over a year now and can confidently say this is one of those products. It stays comfortable, yet feels secure, all day long while I conceal carry a full-size Ruger SR9. The holster performs wonderfully draw-after-draw with absolutely no malfunctions at all.

Defensive Foundation Course

In a previous post I reviewed about a holster purchase, however with limited experience with actually carrying I decided it would be beneficial to advance my skill level as a conceal weapon holder by taking Defensive Foundation taught by Stephen Brannan. The course took place over a two day span and provided a ton of great information as well as hands on experience that focus in depth on the do’s and don’t of concealment. As a student I was face with actual scenarios that inexperience users as myself aren’t necessarily thinking about if the need ever arose for me to use my firearm to protect myself or my family against a threat. This class heighten my comfort level and provided me with the necessary information and tactics to increase my odd’s of overall survival in life threaten situations. I would highly recommend this course.

I bought a IWB holster from ProTEQ and I love it. I’m usually in sweats and there is nowhere to conceal a holster (reliably). This holster fits the bill.

This holster is by far better than the Crossbreed Holster. I waitwd 90 days for a crossbreed holster which when i finally received it, I had to make some adjustments for my pistol for a snug hold in the holster and adjustments for my personal comfort. When I received this holster from ProTec, it was an awesome experience. I received my holster next day and dis not have to make any adjustments. Stephen fid an amazing job in this holster. It is more comfortable than the crossbreed by far and is my choice for everyday carry. Props to you Stephen for a job well done.
